Through its multifamily fund, Black Salmon is acquiring value-add multifamily properties located nationwide, with a focus in the Sunbelt region. The fund targets markets with strong economic fundamentals supported by population and job growth, where the apartment absorption rate is greater than the demand.

To date, the fund has acquired two multifamily assets located in Austin, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. Each of the properties have more than 200 units, and feature rent increase potential through active asset management strategies.
