In partnership with LD&D, Black Salmon is acquiring a development site with plans to build a multifamily in the dynamic Downtown St. Petersburg market, in the Tampa Bay. According to a ranking by Forbes in January 2023, Tampa has been recognized as the best place to live in Florida, considering factors such as median home price, personal income per capita, and rates of unemployment and crime. Black Salmon’s site borders the Tropicana Field redevelopment site (by the Tampa Bay Rays and Hines Development) which has an estimated budget of $4.6 billion, and the Trails Crossing Cultural Park Development which is set to revitalize underutilized land adjacent to I-275. Additionally, the site fronts the Pinellas Trail, providing a unique lifestyle amenity and bikeable access throughout St. Petersburg.
